One kind of Santa Claus postage is the postage Santa and Mrs. Claus use to send their letters from the North pole that go out to good little kids all over the world. While Santa sends out the letters to the children, Mrs. Claus has the responsibility to send Christmas cards to all the elves and their families, telling them how much she and Santa appreciate all the work they do all year around at the North Pole. Mrs. Claus also sends out cards wishing happy holidays to adults all over the globe who send Christmas greeting cards with fond remembrances of their own childhood Christmas memories.
When Santa finishes a letter to a deserving child, he then picks out the appropriate Santa postage stamp that will delight the child when he or she receives the mail. There is something very exciting for children when they receive letters from Santa and the special postage just seems to complete the Christmas stationery package.
Another type of Santa postage is the stamp that a child and parent choose when they are ready to send the child’s wish list letter to Santa Claus in late November or early December. Many children painstakingly write their Santa letters and then decorate the outside of the envelopes with seasonal icons. Adding just the right Christmas postage stamp is the perfect finishing touch for those letters. There are many styles of holiday stamps and Christmas stamps from which parents and children can choose. They can pick different drawings of Santa Claus or Santa photos if they want to put Santa himself on the letter. (In case the children haven’t been extra good all year, they might feel a bit of flattery never hurts!) Santa enjoys stamps with other classic holiday images too such as reindeer, winter scenes, snowmen, elves, and Christmas trees.
